A life still being written...

Thank you for your interest. This is not a biography, but a glimpse into my journey and the experiences that have shaped who I am. You may explore the areas that resonate with you.

The Story of My Life

Born and raised in Karachi during the late 70s and early 80s, my story may be unique in some ways but resonates with millions of others. I lost my father when I was in elementary school. From there, my mother took care of our basic needs as well as our education. Her role was vital in keeping us focused and not letting us engage in any sort of negative activities. Later on, my eldest, father-like brother took the leap into the workforce while completing his own studies. He started learning computer technology, which was something completely new at the time. Although those were tough times, they passed somehow, and we made it through. Eventually, my brother got the opportunity to start his career in the Oil & Gas industry. Sensing the importance and the need to learn digital skills, he encouraged us to learn programming and the use of basic word processors and spreadsheets. Then, it was my turn.

In February 1995, I started my career with Union Texas Pakistan Inc. Equipped with the knowledge of that era, I soon received recognition from my seniors and earned my place in the warehouse team. Later, when BP acquired UTP, we were introduced to the term Supply Chain Management and were exposed to larger functional networks, which provided immense learning opportunities. Simultaneously, I learned to play squash, which became an integral part of my life and played a key role in my fitness journey.

I served BP Pakistan in multiple roles from 1995 to 2008 and later shifted to business consultancy and then elevated myself to a management role. In pursuit of a career in IT Project Management, I continued sports, resumed my reading habits, watched countless documentaries, and traveled across several countries to satisfy my inner explorer. None of it was part of a master plan.

As of now, I am a full-time project manager, a founder of a startup looking for seed investment, and a digital publisher of more than a dozen books on Amazon and hundreds of books in my startup. I am also a content creator for brands as well as my own YouTube channels, and a mentor to four of my nieces to ensure they have the guidance that I did not have, that they have a meaningful life, and that they are empowered to achieve their vision.

As a follower of Simon Sinek, I am striving to follow my Just Cause and make every action count toward bringing my vision to life.

From a computer science diploma in 1995 to managing multi-million-dollar projects in 2026, this 30-year-long professional journey has shaped my skills and made me who I am. I look forward to utilizing all my expertise to deliver the best.

The World I Explored

I have explored more than a dozen countries over the course of my life. Every place has given me something — some new learning, some new perspectives, and a lot of sweet memories. It is time to share all of that with you.

The Books That Shaped Me

I believe books are the most efficient technology ever invented for transferring one human being’s understanding to another. And there are many that have helped me improve my thoughts and adjust my beliefs.

The Body That Keeps Going

It started with cricket, then squash, and then the gym. Later, I realized your physical being impacts your intellect and helps you achieve more. It is a reality that a simple daily home workout can transform your body if done consistently.

The Screens That Taught Me

From wildlife to social science, from history to travel, I have watched hundreds of documentaries that have helped me develop my knowledge horizon and made me hungry to learn more and get better each day.

The Next Generation

To mentor and provide guidance to the next generation is an obligation that we should all be obliged to fulfill. Only in that way can you ensure that you leave a legacy behind and continue adding value after completing your journey here.

The best way to understand someone is to read what they write when nobody told them to. Head over to my blogs page — that is where the unfiltered version of my mind lives.
